Hope Moynihan is a photographer based in Manchester, currently studying at Manchester School of Art. Specialising in portraiture, her work often captures intimate, personal moments within relationships, with a particular focus on family dynamics. From an early stage in her studies, Hope has been fascinated by traditional concepts of relationships, using photography to explore and give insight into the lives of others.
In her personal practice, she delves into the subtle details of human connection, seeking to uncover the nuances that define relationships. Through documentary photography, she also examines communities and places in their natural state, aiming to create honest, unfiltered representations.
Hope’s work is grounded in a commitment to truth and authenticity, focusing on capturing images that are both intimate and real, while maintaining a sense of simplicity and rawness.
